Overview
Marble, terrazzo, and parquet floors do not need replacing nearly as often as people think. Years of foot traffic leave a dull, scratched surface, but the material underneath is usually sound — it just needs grinding back and re-polishing to bring the depth and shine back.
We polish and restore marble, terrazzo, homogeneous tile, and timber floors in homes, offices, and shops. Rooms are sheeted off to contain dust, the floor is worked through progressively finer grits, then sealed and buffed to the finish you want.
What we cover
Diamond grinding, honing, and crystallisation to remove scratches and etching and restore a deep, even shine.
Grinding out surface scratches, water rings, and light stains, then re-polishing the affected area to blend.
Sanding timber and parquet floors back to bare wood, then re-coating with matt, satin, or gloss finishes.
Penetrating sealers on stone and protective coats on timber to resist staining and slow future wear.
How it works
We identify the material and check the depth of scratches and stains to plan the grit sequence and finish level.
Adjacent rooms and skirtings are sheeted and taped to keep grinding dust and slurry off the rest of the unit.
The floor is worked through progressively finer diamond pads, or sanded for timber, until the surface is even and clear.
A sealer or protective coat is applied and buffed to the agreed sheen, then the floor is cleaned and handed back.
Questions
Still unsure? Call +65 9348 1142 and speak to someone who does the work.
Most surface scratches and etching come out with diamond grinding and re-polishing. Very deep gouges may still be faintly visible but are usually reduced significantly. We assess the depth first and tell you what result to expect.
A single room is often completed in a day, while a full unit takes several days depending on the area, the material, and how much grinding is needed. Timber floors also need drying time between coats.
Modern polishing uses water or dust-extraction to keep mess down, and we sheet off adjacent areas. There is some residue, but the floor and surrounding surfaces are cleaned before handover.
